We work on one part of the house

Crawl Space Rescue does crawl space water damage restoration. Not roofs, not kitchens — the space under your floor and the structure that sits in it.

That focus is deliberate. A crawl space behaves differently from the rest of a house: it is enclosed, shaded, usually built over bare soil, and cooler than the air above it. Moisture that would dry out anywhere else collects there and stays. The result is that general water damage work often treats the symptom — pump it out, run a fan — and misses the reason the space was wet in the first place.

Our jobs are built around finding that reason. Supply line, drain, groundwater rising through the soil, surface runoff coming in through the vents, or humid air condensing on cool surfaces: each leaves different evidence and each needs a different fix. Establishing which one you have is the first thing we do, because everything after it depends on the answer.

How we work

Three things shape every job.

  • The source gets identified before the water gets removed, because removing water from a space that will take water again is a recurring cost rather than a repair.
  • Drying finishes against a moisture reading, not a number of days. We mark the reading points and record them, so there is evidence the structure actually reached target.
  • Repairs go in after the space is dry. New timber fitted into a wet crawl space starts absorbing moisture the day it is installed.

Where we work

We serve homeowners nationwide, and we build coverage out one state at a time so that every city and town in a state is listed before the next is added. South Carolina is live now, with 407 cities and towns across all 46 counties — including every incorporated municipality in the state. See the South Carolina coverage list.

Who we work for

Mostly homeowners who have found water, smelled something musty, or noticed a floor going soft. We also work with property managers, landlords and real estate agents dealing with a crawl space finding on an inspection report before a sale.
