Call and describe what you are seeing
The fastest route is the phone. A short description of the smell, the feel of the floor and where the water sits is usually enough for us to say what the space needs.

Common questions
What should I have ready when I call?
The town you are in, roughly when you first noticed it, and what you can see or smell — standing water, a waterline on the piers, insulation hanging down, a musty smell upstairs, or a floor that has gone soft. Photographs help if you have them.
Should I do anything before someone looks at it?
If you can find a shut-off valve and the water is clearly plumbing, close it. Keep people and pets out of the space. Do not run fans from the crawl space into the house before the source is known, because that moves whatever is down there upstairs.
